Glad Tidings

This December, the Vittoria Ensemble invites you to welcome the season with Glad Tidings, a program of Advent and Christmas music on two Sunday afternoons in two of Denver's most beautiful churches.

At its heart is J. S. Bach's cantata Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland (BWV 61), alongside Eric Whitacre's ethereal Lux Aurumque and Arvo Pärt's astonishing Which was the son of. You'll also hear music by Josquin, Morten Lauridsen, Henry Purcell, Eleanor Daley and more, from Renaissance polyphony to the shimmering sounds of today.
